Israeli sitting rooms mix imported linen with local performance cloth — the stain-repellent weaves shops call Impala. They do not drink water the same way. Filter the library, or read straight through.

Cotton velvet bruises if you scrub against the pile. We extract with the nap and groom before it dries.
Loops trap sand. The work is slow, with a soft brush. An aggressive groom pulls the loop.
Durable, and willing to shrink or watermark if it is soaked. We do not soak it. Loose cotton covers that can be unzipped are still cleaned in place unless you ask for a laundry quote.
Dry soil first, low heat, a seam test. A lot of “wool” sofas here are blends. The label, not the showroom name, decides the heat.
Linen, wool, bouclé, velvet, outdoor weave, cotton. If your cloth is not on this list, send a photo of the label and of the arm.
Releases household soil well. Over-extraction can leave a sheen, so the last pass is a rinse and a light groom, not a second scrub.
Outdoor sofas along the coast grow a musty foam long before the cloth looks dirty. We clean the cover and tell you honestly if the cushion insert is the smell.
Surface clean only. No extraction into the hide. Aniline and cracked leather are often a no — we would rather refuse than strip the finish. Conditioning is available when the hide can take it.
Impala and other stain-repellent weaves bead if you rush. They need a dwell, then extraction. The menu adds ₪40 on those pieces because the clock does.
